AT Network Meetings

Upcoming AT Network Meetings

The AT Network formed in 2013 with a handful of AT Specialists in Southern California. The original founding members were linked by their mentor and California's leading AT expert and trainer at the time, Susan Simmons. The group had a vision to bring together the few AT professionals in this field, and share knowledge and expertise among themselves while connecting with vendors and learning about the current technology. As part of the original co-founders, Nikki Gelso  and Diana Neskovska are proud to continue and grow the work of the AT Network which has expanded to include all of California and beyond. This group has been instrumental with being on the forefront of what's happening in the field of Assistive Technology in K-12 settings for both public school employees and private practitioners, with a focus on developing and improving practices in Assistive Technology. This group includes a wide range of AT professionals including: OT's, Speech/Language Specialists, Special Education Teachers, Program Specialists, DHH Providers, LI and VI Specialists, AT/AAC Specialists, Physical Therapists, Administrators and more. All meetings are hosted by Nikki and Diana. We hope you can join one or more upcoming meetings.

2024-25 meetings included the following topics: typing programs, adapted keyboards, AAC and literacy tools,  AI tools for writing IEP's and student accommodations. Presenters from the following vendors: Clevy and Kaz Type, Avaz AAC, and Kami, provided free professional licenses for AT Network members.

Meetings are free to attend. Join our mailing list and we will send you a calendar invite:  https://forms.gle/9y17iUk8k7Hte7KM6
